Diamond Luvan

About the Founder — Diamond Luvan

Diamond Luvan is the owner and founder of iKHONICS, a player development brand and training academy built on the principles of hard work, discipline, and passion for the game. His love for basketball began at a young age, introduced to him by his grandfather KHON and his mom Vanna — the namesakes that inspired the brand iKHONICS.

With over a decade of coaching experience, Diamond has helped shape players at all levels, including AAU programs such as Team Iowa, where he guided a 2027 team to an undefeated season and a GRBA Division 1 AAU State Championship. He also coached the 2023 Team Iowa AAU class, where he successfully helped 9 players earn college offers, a reflection of his commitment to player development and exposure.

Diamond has coached teams from grassroots through high school, including the 2023 graduating class, and currently leads 2027 and 2033 squads. He is also serving as an Assistant Varsity Coach at Jefferson High School and coaching AAU girls with Missouri Phenom (Iowa), continuing his mission to elevate athletes on both the boys’ and girls’ side of the game.

Beyond coaching, Diamond is a proud father of two daughters — both standout shooters in their class — carrying forward his passion for player development within his own family. His favorite coaching memory remains celebrating that undefeated championship season, a reminder of what’s possible through commitment, trust, and relentless work.

At iKHONICS, Diamond’s vision is clear: create an environment where athletes learn to grind, compete, and grow — not just as players, but as people. His motto reflects this mission:

“All earned. Never given.”

Ish Obleton Baseball & Softball lead Instructor

Ish brings over a decade of training and coaching experience to the iKHONICS family. Known as the Swiss Army knife of our operation, he wears many hats and will be making an impact across basketball, baseball, and softball—a true testament to his versatility as a coach and leader.

As a former Blackhawk College athlete, Ish competed in both basketball and baseball at a high level. On the basketball court, he was a steady point guard, leading his team with vision, toughness, and a strong understanding of the game. On the baseball diamond, he showed the same grit and focus, proving himself as a multi-sport competitor who thrived in different environments.

That two-sport background has shaped Ish into the coach he is today. He understands what it takes to balance multiple demands, and he knows how to translate those experiences into lessons that connect with athletes across sports. His ability to break down complex skills into simple, teachable steps helps players of all levels not only develop their mechanics but also understand the WHY behind everything they do.

Whether it’s basketball, baseball, or softball, Ish has a gift for teaching fundamentals, building confidence, and creating an environment where athletes can push themselves while still enjoying the process. His coaching philosophy goes far beyond drills—it’s about developing discipline, leadership, and a true love for the game.

At iKHONICS, we pride ourselves on having coaches who know the details, care about the athletes, and bring energy to every session. Ish embodies that perfectly, and we’re excited for every player who gets the opportunity to learn from him.

Dallas Hodges Lead Basketball Instructor

Hall of Fame Hooper. High-Level Teacher. Hometown Hero.

We’re beyond proud to welcome Coach Dallas Hodges to the iKHONICS team — a true Cedar Rapids legend who’s come full circle, back where it all started, pouring into the community that raised him.

Inducted into the Washington High School Hall of Fame in 2020, Coach Hodges left his mark as an All-State basketball player in 2003, known for his unmatched leadership, smooth skill set, and elite basketball IQ. His impact on the hardwood was undeniable, and his reputation as one of the city’s greats still echoes through the gyms of Cedar Rapids.

After years of experience sharpening his knowledge both on and off the court, Hodges has returned to the game he loves — but now with a bigger mission. His passion is developing the next generation of hoopers, helping them build not just skill, but confidence, discipline, and the mindset needed to succeed at the next level.

Coach Hodges brings to iKHONICS:
✅ Elite basketball IQ – a master at teaching the game within the game.
✅ On-court leadership – modeling toughness, composure, and competitiveness.
✅ Mentorship that matters – guiding athletes through the challenges of both sport and life.

His presence is a true game-changer — not only for iKHONICS but for every athlete who gets the opportunity to train under his leadership.

Welcome back to the hardwood, Coach. Cedar Rapids is watching, and the future is in great hands.

Levi Murphy Lead Soccer Instructor

From Liberia to Cedar Rapids, Levi Murphy’s story is one of resilience, faith, and passion. Adopted from Liberia in 2005 alongside his two brothers at just three years old, Levi overcame early challenges — including surviving Hepatitis B — to find his purpose through the game of soccer.

Self-taught until the age of 12, Levi’s raw love for the game quickly turned into elite-level talent. He went on to compete with CRSA and academy programs like Sporting Iowa and St. Louis Scott Gallagher, testing his skills against some of the top competition across the Midwest.

At Marion High School, Levi wasted no time making history. As a freshman, he ranked among Iowa’s top goal scorers and helped lead the program to only its second-ever state appearance in 2018. Across his four-year varsity career, he played a pivotal role in securing three conference titles and two state tournament berths, laying the foundation for a winning culture that still carries on at Marion today.

Levi briefly took his game to the collegiate level at Wartburg College, but after experiencing a family tragedy, he chose to step away from playing to focus on personal growth, leadership, and faith. Now, he channels his energy into developing the next generation of players — not just as athletes, but as leaders grounded in character and resilience.

In his first year partnering with iKHONICS, Levi brings the same competitive fire that fueled his own career, combined with a mentor’s heart for guiding youth through both the sport and life. His story is proof that adversity can be transformed into strength — and his mission is to pass that lesson on to every player he coaches.
