About Us
Diamond Luvan
Owner and founder of iKHONICS, Diamond Luvan's love and passion for the game of basketball came at a very young age. The game was introduced to him by his grandfather KHON and his mom Vanna. Diamond has been coaching AAU basketball for the past decade. He has coached a team of 2023 graduates through the Team Iowa system, and currently has a 2027 and 2033 group coming through as well. Diamond also has 2 daughters that he has trained and has become 2 of the best shooters in their class. His fondest memory was in 2022 when his 2027 class had a undefeated season and also won the GRBA Division 1 AAU State Championships!
Dallas Hodges
Dallas Hodges, was inducted to Washington HS Hall of fame in 2020. The all state basketball player in 2003 is back on the courts in Cedar Rapids ready to make a difference and give back to our community. Coach Hodges brings tons of experience and IQ to our team.
Olivia Pikokivaka
Olivia Pikokivaka's primary focus will be directly at our youth players. Her passion is to develop young players to become fundamentally sound and also to mentally prepare them for the next level in their lives.
Played under a Jefferson program led by Iowa State Championship Coach Larry Neimeyer for 4 years at Jefferson from 2000 - 2004. She has been coaching for the past 15 years in both volleyball, basketball and golf for 2 years.
Sam Elgin
Sam Elgin - owner/trainer with Formula Basketball! Coach Elgin has been training players of all ages for over 10 years focusing on skill development and building basketball IQ for in-game situations. Outside of one-on-one and small group skills training, Coach Elgin has 10 plus years of team coaching in the AAU circuit and the high school level with stops at Marion, Xavier, and Linn-Mar!
Prior to his coaching and training career - Coach Elgin was an all-state high school hooper at Center Point-Urbana then moving on to being a 4 year college player at D2 Upper Iowa from 2009-2013!
Ish Obleton
Ish has over a decade in training and coaching experience. The swiss army knife of our team, will be triple dipping in the Basketball, Baseball and Softball side of our operation! The former Blackhawk College Point Guard can break things down to smaller tasks so players understand the WHY.
Ish is also the Assistant Coach for Linn Mars High School Girls Basketball team and Scout.
Ashley Grimm
Ashley does not need an introduction, as she has been in the Cedar Rapids basketball scene for quite sometime as a former standout player at Cedar Rapids Washington and with 2 daughters playing AAU basketball for Kingdom Hoops out of Des Moines. Ashley has coached at All Iowa Attack and is currently the Assistant coach for Prairie High School Women's Basketball which she help lead to a very successful 16-5 season!! Ashley will have a huge role on our team as she will be working hard with our elementary, middle and high school female players.
Wes Washpun
TRAIN LIKE A PRO WITH A PRO
This summer after his run in Europe Wes Washpun will be joining iKHONICS! 2x 1st team all-state( high school), MVC 6th man of the year at UNI (college), 1st team all conference 2016 (college), MVC tournament most outstanding player and all tournament team captain 2016 (college), 2 time NBA Summer League participant, 8 year professional basketball player NBA G- League and Europe, played in over 10 different countries all around the world professionally.
